Saturday, June 12, 2010

I woke up this morning feeling like it would be the perfect kind of day to tuck into the sofa with a giant mug of tea and watch episodes of So You Think You Can Dance and The Bachellorette all day. I would have LOVED to be at the cottage this weekend, but work and weather conspired against me. So, I woke up this moring (an hour too early thanks to the demaning cat) and went to teach Belly Bootcamp. My lovely ladies filed in quietly this morning, one by one, and sat down on the floor. Turns out we were all having a "blah" day.

It could have been the weather or the planetary allignment, or our [lack of] mutual energy collecting in the room.... I think if I had suggested in earnest that we skip the class for the day and go for breakfast, they would have been fighting me to get out of the building! But - we pushed though -- of course we did! And? We all felt better at the end of it. A little exercise is ALWAYS good for the mind, body and soul.

Do I want to clean the house or run a list of errands because of my workout this morning? No way. But perhaps I won't feel so guilty when the sofa envelopes me this afternoon for some much deserved rest.
