Monday, June 14, 2010

To me, there is nothing quite like the feel of Monday morning. I know some people hate it -- the people who LIVE for the weekend see Monday as the farthest possible point from freedom. But I've always seen Monday as a sort of a "fresh start". An opportunity to start again. I get the most paperwork and school work done on Mondays, and I find I am more likely to exercise and eat right at the beginning of the week. Perhaps it's like the start of a new school year or the bells of New Years chiming in -- at this particular moment, my "week" is in perfect order and all is well with my world. I am well rested and ready to tackle the days ahead. I feel pretty positive right now... Check back on Thursday though -- that's the day I find most pointless and tedious. Thankfully Thursdays are usually followed by Fridays...

What's your "tackle the world" day of the week?
